- Will provide coverage: 0.24 sqm for Standard forms 0.4 sqm for Euro Forms
Information:
- Ratio: 20kg mix to 2.8L water
- Store between 5-25°C
- Keep lid on when not in use
Mixing and Pouring Guide
This mix has been designed for strong, smooth concrete worktops. Follow the steps below for best results.
Water and Mixing
Use 2.8 to 3 litres of water per bucket.
Start with 2.8 litres of water in the mixing bucket.
Slowly add the dry mix while mixing.
If the mix is still too stiff, add 0.1 litre of water and mix again.
If needed, add another 0.1 litre. Do not go over 3 litres in total.
Once mixed, leave it to rest for about 8 minutes so air bubbles can rise to the surface.
Two Stage Pour (Brockit Pro recommended method)
We recommend pouring in two stages for a stronger and cleaner finish.
Stage one
Add fibres to the mix. Use either glass or acrylic fibres.
Add 20 grams of fibres per bucket of mix.
Pour the mix into the form until it is just above the reinforcement mesh.
Level and smooth the surface.
Let it set until the surface is firm but still slightly tacky. It should not be fully hard.
Stage two
Mix a new batch without fibres.
Pour the second layer to the top of the forms.
Smooth and finish the surface as required.
Why two stages
Fibres add strength to the underside of the worktop.
Keeping fibres out of the top layer gives a smooth, clean finish ready for polishing.
